Here in Central Oregon we woke up to 2 ft of new snow! Yesterday my husband and I shoveled our long driveway twice, 6" and another 6"!
This reminds me of the blizzard Judith Ashley writes about in one of her stories in our Anthology, "Grandmother Moon".
Her descriptions are so realistic I could feel the cold and the biting wind. The story of two wounded souls finding each other is riveting.
Combine that with a horse, a traitor dog, and a drum, and you have an interesting entertaining story worth reading.
Do you live in snow country? What do you do when it is cold and snowy outside?
You guys really got hit hard! Here in the Portland area we have about 6 inches with more coming down. They're predicting an ice storm overnight. I agree that Judith's descriptions in Grandmother Moon make you feel every bit of the characters' struggle to survive a blizzard! I loved Jacks, the traitor dog.
